About us
Built on Legacy. Driven by Results.
Dale Ray Dental Solutions is a dental operations consulting and implementation company. We help independent practices evaluate performance, develop leaders, empower teams, and put meaningful operational change to work.
The story behind the name
Two middle names, and the standard they stand for.
Dale and Ray are the middle names of our founder’s father and father-in-law. Naming the company for them was a deliberate choice. It ties our work to family, and to the values that come with a name you are proud to carry: integrity, accountability, operational excellence, and a commitment to building something meaningful.
Dale Ray is more than a business name. It is a promise to every practice owner we work with: we say what we will do, we do it, and we measure whether it worked, because helping you succeed is the reason the company exists.
Our Founder
Dale Ray Dental Solutions was founded on a simple belief: exceptional dental practices are built through strong leadership, empowered teams, disciplined operations, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Built on decades of dental industry leadership and operational experience, our approach combines strategic insight with hands-on execution to help practice owners strengthen their businesses and create sustainable growth.
The Dale Ray name honors family legacy and reflects the values that guide our work: integrity, accountability, partnership, and lasting results.
The long-term vision is a repeatable operating system for practice improvement: the PRIME Performance System, customized 10 Levers, and the Dale Ray Method, one day delivered by experienced dental operations professionals trained in our approach. We are building toward that carefully, one practice at a time.
What we believe
Strong practices are built from the inside out.
Supporting and developing team members helps create exceptional patient experiences. Empowered employees and strong leadership create better patient experiences, and better patient experiences support sustainable practice performance.
Team members who understand their roles, have the tools to do them, and are trusted to act.
Managers and owners who set clear expectations, coach consistently, and follow through.
Patients who feel welcomed, informed, and cared for at every step, and who return and refer.
Healthy, consistent results that hold up over years, not just over a strong quarter.
A different kind of partner
Strategic guidance and hands-on operational solutions.
Traditional consulting often ends with a report. Ours starts with a prioritized roadmap your team can act on, and, through an ongoing partnership, continues into the practice, where strategy becomes daily execution and progress is measured.
We help you execute
Plans become changes in daily use, built and implemented alongside your leaders.
We develop leaders
Practice managers and team leads gain the coaching and systems to lead with confidence.
We empower teams
Team members understand their roles, have the tools to do them, and are trusted to act.
We measure improvement
Progress is tracked against a scorecard you helped define, and reported plainly.
Our values
How we work with every practice.
Integrity
We tell you what we see, including what is hard to hear, and we recommend only what we believe your practice needs.
Accountability
We commit to clear goals, report on progress plainly, and hold ourselves to the same standard we ask of your team.
Partnership
We work beside you and your leaders. Your priorities set the direction, and your team shares in the progress.
Lasting results
We build systems, leaders, and habits that keep working long after an engagement ends.
Who we serve
Independent practices, first.
Our focus is the independent dental practice owner: the dentist who built a practice, cares about the team, and wants the business to run as well as the dentistry.
As we grow, we expect to bring the same hands-on approach to emerging dental groups and DSOs.
